Here’s what a 5 month old weighing 18.8 lbs looks like. I just can’t get over how much a baby can change, yet still be the same. She’s clearly bigger in these pictures than when we were with her back in August - having put on 2.8 lbs in a little over a month.
She still does that “thing” with her fingers, and still looks directly at the camera. Plus, she still looks like she’s unsure about being on her belly much. Maybe I’m wrong - does it look like she’s thinking about smiling or crying here?
Either way, she’s growing and developing in a healthy way - kudos to N, E, E Jr, C, J, and D - CJs foster family. I can’t post it, but there’s also a nice picture in this batch of N holding her and she just has nice loving look in her eyes. Of course, she’s a small woman (shorter than the red-head) so Carmen looks even bigger with her.
Phew - the waiting continues, so it’s good to get an update!
