OK folks, tomorrow is our last day in Guatemala - so I’m not 100% sure if any additional blogging will happen, so here are a few pictures from last evening and today.
Carmen has finally given us a few belly laughs, and has has figured out how to work the volume on the clock radio. I’m still mastering diapers and getting dressed on a semi-fidgetty semi-baby, so I threw in a picture here of that episode as well. Please laugh at me, I could not care less at the moment!
CJ is still eating like crazy (absolutely loves turkey and jello), sleeps well, but doesn’t much care for being cooped up in the hotel room. As long as we don’t spend more than an hour or so in there awake, we’re good to go. We’ve been occasionally hanging with some other folks from our agency, and meeting other families - a real blessing.
Please pray for the red-head as I believe nerves are creeping up on her in regards to our flight home with Carmen. She knows it’ll be fine, and she’s an awesome mommy, but this will be our last actual “hurdle” before we begin to settle into our home in PA.
Yah, I know in some of these pictures she looks even bigger than 24 lbs!

I am so excited to hear you will soon be home! I, too, was terrified of flying with Nadia, but as you say, it was one of the last hurdles to get through. So, you know the end is in sight! Or shall I say the beginning?! Soon you will be home, all together. How wonderful is that? All the best to all 3 of you. Toys, books, snacks, and strolling down the aisles of the plane..again and again and again. You can do it! And you will be fine and so will she. (Plus, if she cries and you think it is bothering people, just rememeber you will never see those folks again anyway!) Have her drink or nibble during take-off and landing so her ears don’t get plugged! xo, B.
